Using Banked Hours for a Time Off

How to use banked hours when approving or creating a time offs

If you have activated recuperation time banks, you can select this bank when approving a time off request or when creating a time off in the timesheets.


1- Use banked hours when approving a time off

To use banked hours when approving an employee's time off;

  1. Go to the ''Requests'' tab

  2. Select the “Time off” option

  3. Select the request you wish to approve

  4. Validate all information (date, justification, number of hours booked, etc.) then select the bank of hours under “Leave type”

  5. Click on “Approve"

The time will be approved and the hours deducted from the bank.


2- Use banked hours when creating a leave schedule

To use banked hours when creating a shift in the schedule;

  1. Click on the ''+'' to add a shift to the desired employee

  2. Select the ''Time off'' option

  3. Confirm or modify the number of hours to be recorded

  4. Select the bank of accumulated hours under “Leave type”.

  5. Press “Create"

The time off will be created and the hours deducted from the bank.

3- Use banked hours when creating a leave in the timesheet

To use banked hours when creating a time off in the timesheet, first go to the employee's timesheet via the ''Attendance'' tab and then ;

  1. Click on the ''+'' to add a time entry

  2. Select the ''Time off'' option

  3. Select the bank of hours under ''Type''

  4. Confirm that the number of hours to be counted is correct (you can modify it if necessary).

  5. Press “Save”.

The time off will be added to the timesheet and the hours deducted from the bank.
