Administrators can set up automatic deduction of breaks from timesheets.
This article explains how to set this up!
1- Use scheduled break time
If you want to ensure that a scheduled unpaid break is deducted in full, even if it hasn't been clocked in correctly or has simply been forgotten;
1- Click on the “Settings” tab in the main menu
2- Select the “Attendance” submenu
3- Scroll down to the “Automation” section
4- Activate the “Use the shift's planned unpaid break if an employee didn't clock his entire unpaid break” option.
For this automation to work, note that the break must always be added to your employees' schedule, and the schedule must be published.
Plus Plan also lets you create automatic break rules so that breaks are automatically added to your schedule!
