The clock log is useful for viewing all employee clock-ins and clock-outs. The primary use of this tool is to help staff with their time clocking concerns.
A) Who can use the clock logs
All Administrators and Managers.
B) Where to find it
The clock logs are found under the Attendance tab in the main menu and then under the Clock Logs tab.
C) How to use it
The register keeps a history of employee clocking in and out. If a specific employee tells you about their difficulties, you can filter them at the top. It is also possible to extract entries for a specific date based on status or clocking method.
To find the problematic time entries, you simply have to look for the red X's under the column "Status."
When you click on this entry, you will see the error message received by your employee and you can check the location of the clock-in if necessary.
E) Export a report
You can export the clock log in an Excel format :
Click on the "Reports" tab in the menu on the left
Click on "Attendance"
Select "Clock log"
