Once a time off bank is created, you can then fill or clear them up. It is also possible to do it per person or in mass.

1- Adjust a balance in bulk

To adjust the balance in bulk:

  1. Go to the “Time off” menu

  2. Select the “Banks” subsection

  3. Select the year

  4. Click on the employees of your choice (or on the button to select all)

  5. Click on “Bulk actions” and select the action from the drop-down menu

At this step, you have to choose between 3 options:

  1. Refill hours

  2. Adjust hours

  3. Reset hours

1.1 Refill hours

Lets you choose a bank and bring the hours of each selected employee to the decided amount.

In the following example, I’m refilling the "Sick leave" bank to 24 hours. In this case, an employee with nothing in his/her sick leave bank will have 24 hours added. Knowing that, someone with 10 hours will only have 14 hours added. However, for someone who has 24 hours or more, their value will not be changed.

1.2 Adjust hours

Lets you add or remove the same amount of hours to every selected employee, without any consideration for the current amount in their banks.

In the following example, I will add 7h30 to every selected employee.

1.3 Reset Hours

Simply brings back the bank to 0 for the selected employees.

2- Adjusting the amount for a single employee

To adjust the balance for a specific employee;

Still in “Time off” - “Banks,” select the desired employee, make sure the bank type and year are correct, and click the “Adjust time” button.

Now that you have hours in the bank, it's important to understand that there can be 3 statuses to those hours. See this article for more details!
