To view and/or approve your employees' timesheets, first go to the "Attendance" tab in the main menu.
You will then have the option of either a "By employee" or "By day" view.
1. ''By day'' view
The day view gives you an overview of your employees' time entries for the selected day only.
You can approve all by clicking here :
Or approve each time entry individually like so:
2. ''By pay period'' view
The by pay period view lets you see the total hours clocked per employee for the entire pay period selected.
To change the pay period, simply click on the dates of the currently selected period and select the desired dates:
2.1 Approve time sheets in ''by pay period''
When an employee has colored alerts to the left of his name, this means that his timesheet requires approval and possibly modification.
To manage the timesheet, simply click on the employee's name to be directed to the complete timesheet.
2.2 Approve all
If you don't need to make any changes, and simply wish to approve what is not approved, you can do so via the "Approve all" button in the top right-hand corner.
2.3 Modifying a time entry
If, however, you need to modify a time entry, simply click on the desired time entry and you will then be able to make various modifications, such as:
1. Add a time entry
You can add a time entry when an employee has forgotten to clock in.
2. Use scheduled hours
Use this option when you wish to use scheduled hours rather than hours clocked in by an employee.
3. Modifying a time entry
You can make any changes to entry and exit times by using the drop-down menu, or by entering the desired time using your keyboard.
4. Modifying breaks
You can also modify breaks durations.
Pro tip: Under the Log button you can see any changes made to the time entry!
Once approval is complete, a small checkmark in the top left-hand corner of the timesheet will indicate that the timesheet has been approved.
3- Blocking and non-blocking alerts
Some alerts are “non-blocking” and can therefore simply be ignored.
