Once you've submitted an application to your employer, you may need to modify or cancel it.

This article explains the conditions to be met and how to proceed.

1- Cancelling a request

1.1 Cancelling a request awaiting approval

Any request still pending approval can be cancelled.

To do so, click on the "Time off" tab then on "Time off requests". Select the request in question and then click on the red garbage can to cancel the request.

1.2 Cancelling an approved request

If you’ve approved a time-off request but now need to cancel it, follow these steps:

  1. Locate the Request: Open the approved time-off request in your Agendrix account.

  2. Edit the Request: Click on the 'Edit' button associated with the specific request.

  3. Delete the Request: After clicking 'Edit,' you’ll see a garbage icon appear. Click this icon to delete the time-off request. By doing this, the request will be removed from the system. This process cannot be undone directly, so double-check before confirming the deletion.

However, replacement offer an swaps as well as open shifts for which you have volunteered cannot be cancelled once approved.

If you are no longer available, you can try to make a shift transfer request yourself, or contact your manager directly via Messenger to let him/her know.

2- Modifying a request

Please note that only unapproved leave requests can be modified.

To do so, click on the request and select the click on "Edit" in order to edit the request.

If the request has already been approved, you will need to delete it (see point 1.2) and make a new request.

3- Additional Tips for Managing Time-Off Requests

  • Communicate Clearly: If changes are needed to a request, keep open lines of communication with employees to address any concerns.

  • Confirm Actions: Make sure to double-check before canceling or declining to avoid accidental removals. If a request has been declined, you can use the following workaround:

  1. Create a New Request: Ask the employee to submit a new time-off request for the desired dates. This new request will replace the declined one and can be processed as needed.
