How to activate integration with Veloce POS

Written by Antoine Dion

Veloce is a point-of-sale system. Once the integration is activated, Agendrix imports your previous day's pre-tax sales into the scheduler's budget tool every night, with no manual entry.

The integration is available to Canadian organizations whose plan includes scheduling.

What the integration includes

Sales per location

The pre-tax sales of each location are imported into the scheduler's budget tool, as one total per day. They replace the estimated revenues you had entered for those days.

The sync runs once a night, so the previous day's sales are available first thing in the morning. Each night Agendrix also goes back over the last 3 days, so an invoice added or corrected after the fact sets its day's total right.

What you need

The email and password of a Veloce account. Agendrix uses them once to establish the link: your password is sent to Veloce over an encrypted connection and is never stored by Agendrix.

One Veloce connection per organization. The Veloce locations that account can see are the ones you will be able to match to your Agendrix locations.

How to activate it

  1. Go to the "Settings" tab

  2. Choose the "Integrations" sub-tab

  3. Click "Activate" on the Veloce card

  4. In the "Credentials" section, enter the "Email" and the "Password" of the Veloce account

  5. Click "Submit"

Agendrix signs in to Veloce when you save. If Veloce refuses the email or the password, the error message appears on the field concerned: correct it, then submit again.

Once the connection is established, the section shows the "Email" used and the account's "Veloce identifier".

Your password is no longer displayed.

Match your Veloce locations to your Agendrix locations

No sales are imported until an Agendrix location is matched to a Veloce location.

  1. Open the "Mappings" tab

  2. For each Agendrix location, choose the matching Veloce location

  3. Click "Submit"

The locations offered are the ones from your Veloce account, shown with the name you see in your Veloce reports.

An Agendrix location with no Veloce location imports no sales. Removing a location's match stops its sales at the next sync; the sales already imported are kept.

Check that the sales are syncing

The first synchronization for the last 3 days begins as soon as the configuration is complete, that is once the credentials are submitted and at least one Agendrix location is matched.

  1. Go to the "Settings" tab

  2. Choose the "Integrations" sub-tab

  3. Click "Synchronization log"

Each location has one entry per synced day. Click a counter to see the entries and the "Pre-tax sales" that were imported:

  • Updated: the day's sales were imported

  • Skipped: no sales were recorded in Veloce for that day

  • Errors: Veloce did not answer; the day is picked up again at the next sync

If the sales stop being imported

If the Veloce account's password changes or the account is disabled, the sales stop being imported with no message. Go back to the "Credentials" section, click the pencil, enter the email and password again, then submit: the sync resumes the following night.

To stop the integration, click "Disable integration". Your location matching and the sales already imported are kept.
