How to add hourly rates?
You can add hourly rates under the Roles and Positions tab in the employee's profile. It's possible to have a single hourly rate or multiple hourly rates based on each assigned position.
IMPORTANT
Hourly rates are not visible by employees or supervisors. Only administrators always see the hourly rates.
By default managers have access to them as well but it is possible to revoke that access. Here's how to do so
Unique hourly rate
Once a position is assigned to the employee, by default he will have a single hourly rate.
Multiple hourly rates
Once an employee has more than one position, you can select the ''Specific hourly rates for each assigned position'' option.
IMPORTANT
Whenever you apply changes to hourly rates, they will be effective for futur shifts.
That ensures that past reporting will remain accurate.
Multi-level overtime
If you have multi-level overtime, you will also have the option to set a salary associated with both levels in the hourly rate section of your employee's profile.
