It is possible to add your employee's contract hours and ensure that you meet the requirements when making the schedule.
1) How to enable contract hours
To enable the weekly contracted hours, follow the steps below. Note that the admin role is necessary to access this feature.
1- Click on the "Settings" tab
2- Click on "Human ressources"
3- Click on the "People date" sub-section
4- Enable "Weekly contracted hours"
2) Add the contract hours in your employee's profile
Once the "Weekly contracted hours" field is enabled, you can determine the contract hours of each employee directly in their profile.
To do so:
1- Click on the "RH" - "Employees" tab
2- Click on the name of the employee
3- Go in the "Profile" section
4- Go to the "Employment" sub-section
5- Add the number of weekly contracted hours
6- Once added, click on "Save"
3) View contract hours in the schedule
When adding shifts to your employee's schedule, you will see the weekly contracted hours under the employee's name adjust automatically. It will tell you if the employee has too many hours on the schedule or if they're missing any.
If the contract requirements are not met, you will see this icon :
If the contract requirements are met, you will see this icon and the balance will be at 0h.
4) View the hours of the contracts in the timesheets
You can see contracted hours on the left in the employees' timesheets. You can also see the remaining hour balance to meet the contract's requirements.
**Note that the "Pay period" is calculated according to the duration of your pay period (weekly, biweekly, monthly, etc.)
