Would you like to change the overtime settings for the entire organization? An administrator can do so by following the steps below.

Modify the overtime threshold via the “Settings” tab

To change the number of hours to be worked before they become overtime, you must:

1- Click on the “Settings” tab

2- “General” sub-section

3- Set or modify overtime parameters by day and/or week

4- Save

A) Per day overtime

If you do not have overtime on a daily basis (let's say after 8 hours in a day overtime applies), put 24hours.

B) Weekly overtime

Add the number of hours per week to be considered in overtime.

* This setting is applicable to all employees. It is possible to override this setting per employee under their profile. Consult this article for more details.

** You can also set up and use multi-level overtime, view the article here

Modifying the overtime spread/period settings impacts not only newly submitted timesheets but also updates past records retroactively. Once the settings are adjusted, it is essential to refresh your view to ensure that all historical changes are visible.

When an employee’s profile setting for overtime spread/period is activated, it overrides the corresponding organization-wide setting. This allows you to customize overtime application for individual employees. Specific actions, such as enabling or disabling overtime spread for a particular employee, can be managed directly through their profile options.
