A) In bulk

Initiate banking

  1. Go under the "Attendance" menu

  2. Make sure you are in "Timesheets"

  3. Make sure you are in the right payroll period and ideally close or finalize it to prevent other administrators or managers from modifying the timesheets

  4. Click the piggy bank icon

N.B.: Only admins and managers have access to this feature.

Specify the banking action

  1. Make sure the "Bank all overtime" box is checked

  2. Select the time bank into which hours must be added

  3. The multiplier will affect the hours put in the bank, make sure it is right or change it as needed (the default multiplier will match what was set for the selected bank)

  4. If applicable, check the "Complete timesheets with hours in the bank" box and enter the corresponding details (this function allows you to use the hours already in bank to fill in incomplete timesheets)

  5. Confirm by checking the corresponding box

  6. Click on "Apply''

N.B.: In step 4, checking “Allow negative time bank balance” allows the employees to be paid for their usual time so that they can resume their hours later.

B) Individually

The piggy bank icon that allows you to bank overtime is also available in every timesheet. To proceed :

  1. Go under the "Attendance" menu

  2. Make sure you are in the "Pay period summary"

  3. Make sure you are in the right payroll period and ideally close or finalize it to prevent other administrators or managers from modifying the timesheets

  4. Click on the line corresponding to the name of the employee for whom you wish to bank overtime

  5. Click the piggy bank icon

The following steps are the same as in bulk!
