There are many reasons why an employee may not be able to log in. This article explains what the causes might be and how to correct the problem in different situations.
1) "Where is everyone?"
There is a good chance that your employee is trying to log in with the wrong e-mail address, or that the invitation has not been sent.
Please check with your employee which address is being used, validate that it's the right one via the HR -> Employees tab and ensure that the invitation is also sent (HR -> Employees -> Invitations).
If your employee prefers to use an address other than the one linked to the account, you can change it.
2) An invitation code is requested
If an employee is having difficulty logging in for the first time following your invitation and a code is requested, go to HR -> Employees -> Invitations to find it or to generate an invitation code.
3) "Wrong email or password" message appears
A) First possible cause: Wrong password
If your employees are sure they are using the right email address and it's spelled correctly, there's a good chance they are using the wrong password.
Solutions:
Try another passwords they frequently use, if they have several.
It can take up to 5 minutes to receive the email.
B) Second possible cause: Wrong email address
If your employees are sure they are using the right password and it's spelled correctly, it's because they are using the wrong email address.
Solution:
Validate the email address linked to the account via the HR -> Employees tab.
4) Your employee doesn't receive a password reset email
There are 3 possibilities:
The password reset email is in his/her or her junk mail box.
Have they waited 5 minutes?
The employee has not yet accepted the invitation to join the organization.
